These 5 DIY Hair Masks We Know You Will Fall in Love With!!

It’s time to pamper yourself and show your hair some love and care. To help you plan, Advanced Hair Studio has put together some of the top and favorite hair masks and hair treatments for you to try. Get ready for healthier, shinier and stronger hair with these hair treatments.

1. Coconut Oil + Honey Hair Mask:


Coconut Oil is a magical ingredient for your hair treatment. It keeps the hair moist and prevents hair breakage because of its high moisture retaining capabilities. Honey, on the other hand, is great for retaining moisture in your hair. This means it sucks the moisture in the hair and smoothens it. It is great for dry hair and if you need an extra boost of moisture and dehydration.


Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil

  • 1 tbsp Honey


Directions:

  • Mix all the ingredients.

  • Transfer the mix and heat up until melted.

  • Apply from top to bottom and cover with a shower cap.

  • Let it sit for 15-20 mins and rinse.

2. Coconut Oil + Cinnamon Hair Mask:


The above mask talks about the hydrating and moisturizing properties of coconut oil. However, cinnamon has antimicrobial properties which help in hair regrowth, hair loss and strengthens the hair follicles as well. If you are looking for normal hair, this is the hair mask for you.


Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil

  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon


Directions:

  • Mix all the ingredients.

  • Part your hair and start by applying it down the part and on your scalp.

  • Tie your hair up and cover with a shower cap.

  • Let it sit for 35-40 mins and rinse.

3. Brown Sugar + Olive Oil Hair Mask:


Brown sugar is a great exfoliant for the hair and helps get rid of those dead skin cells from the scalp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is also a natural conditioner to treat dry hair. It also produces soft and shiny hair by locking in the moisture and preventing dryness of the scalp. It's a great resource for preventing hair breakage, split ends, and even fly-aways!


Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar


Directions:

  • Mix all the ingredients.

  • Apply from top to bottom and cover with a shower cap.

  • Let it sit for 15-20 mins and rinse.

4. Banana + Yogurt + Honey Hair Mask:


Bananas are a secret wonder for hair conditioning. They are full of natural oils, carbohydrates, and vitamins which lack moisture and help eliminate the frizz. Yogurt is also incredibly beneficial for frizzy hair. It has high levels of lactic acid which treats dull and damaged hair.


Ingredients:

  • 1 Sliced Banana

  • 1 tbsp Honey

  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt


Directions:

  • Mix all the ingredients in a blender until they are blended well.

  • Applying it from top to bottom.

  • Tie your hair up and cover with a shower cap.

  • Let it sit for 35-40 mins and rinse.

5. Coconut Oil + Strawberry + Honey Hair Mask:


Strawberries is great to achieve the overall health. They are full of Vitamin C, which is important for your hair. The strawberry hair eliminates the excess oil and gives a glossy shine.


Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil

  • I tbsp honey

  • 6-8 fresh strawberries


Directions:

  • Blend all the ingredients to form a puree.

  • Apply evenly on the damp hair.

  • Let it sit for 5-10 mins.

  • Rinse well with warm water.

It took me 1 Year to decide whether I wanted to go through with the hair restoration procedure using a Natural Looking Hair piece. I did a lot of research and consulted with many people who had done the procedure.

I was convinced to go ahead due to the information session / in-depth knowledge and the excellent customer service skills of Sanjay- the manager.

I did the procedure 1 month ago and I can honestly say that it was the best decision ever. Advanced Hair Studio provides the best quality for the Hair Pieces. The staff takes the time to understand what you are looking for as a customer. They style your hair based on your facial structure and I must truly admit that their stylists are pure Artists! My favourite stylist is Mohamad from Lebanon. He does magic with his hands and I am always thrilled with the new styles/ suggestions he provides.

I must admit that AHS is on the more expensive side if you were to consider the other competitors in Dubai. However, it is all worth every penny spent! You will not regret it.

Do not over think it. Just go ahead an do the procedure. You will evolve into a whole new person! Believe me! :-)

I started losing my hair in my mid-twenties and in spite of trying all sorts of treatments it gradually got worse and worse. By my late twenties I started cutting my hair short. Whenever I tried to grow it, it used to look a mess and was impossible to style because of my receding and thinning.
