Know your Skin Tone First

The following techniques will help you dictate whether you have warm or cool tones:

  • Examine your wrist in direct sunshine to determine whether your skin tone tends to be warm or cool. You are warm-toned if your wrist veins appear green. If they appear blue, your skin tone is chilly.
  • You can have a neutral colour skin tone that gives you an olive complexion if you cannot determine whether they are blue or green.
  • Warm overtones in your hair colour will appear excellent on you if your complexion has yellowish undertones. One such colour is copper blond.
  • You are cool-toned if your skin has pink undertones, and cool colours like ash blonde will look excellent on you.

You can visit the AHS studio for an advanced hair check by our experts to determine which hair colour will suit you the best and get tips on how to follow the latest hair colour trends.

Best Hair colours For Your Skin Tone

  • Colours For Warm Skin Tone Hair
  • Warm skin tones go well with warm blonde and brown tones. Depending on the colour of your skin, choose your shades. For instance, hues like honey blonde and rose gold will look good on someone with a light, warm-toned complexion. Choose a darker brown hair colour, like chocolate, for people with darker skin.

  • Cool skin tone and hair colour
  • Cool skin tones look well with cool colours like platinum ash blonde, platinum, white blonde, and ash brown. However, softer warm tones like golden blonde and light chestnut brown also work well on you.

What Hair colour is Best For Each Skin Tone?

On fair complexion, stay away from too-dark hair. Subtle highlights will significantly enhance your appearance. If your hair already has a hint of brown, as some ladies have from birth, and your skin is fair, try for red hair streaks. You'll look fantastic.

  • Colours For Medium Skin And Hair
  • Avoid using too-light hues. Remain with browns and blondes. Better if it's warmer. Avoid using hues like ginger. Browns and deep plum hues are options. You can also use the low lights as an alternative. Get a haircut that will highlight the lowlights in your hair. Chocolate browns, dull reds, maroons, and deep, chilly hues like blue or purple are the best colours for you.

  • Colour Of Hair For Dark Skin
  • Getting cool-toned streaks like ash blonde may be better for folks with darker skin tones. Choose warm hues such as dark crimson or honey-coloured streaks. It is safest to stay with darker hues that include warm highlights when you have a dark colour skin tone. Choose a balayage for a smooth transition if you want to colour most of your hair. If you currently have dark hair and want to switch it up, go with a shade close to your original hue. Dark tones go well with maroons and dark browns.

  • Colour Of Hair For Light Skin
  • Cool-toned hues like ash browns, white blondes, filthy blondes, and California blondes look fantastic on the pale complexion. On this skin type, warm shades of light brown also look excellent. Cool tones are desirable, though.

  • Olive Skin Hair colour Best Hair colour
  • Olive skin tones look fantastic with warm dark blonde hues, dark brown shades, and light brown shades. Warm colours look great against this skin tone. Because olive skin is a neutral skin tone, ash hues also look excellent.

  • Hair colours That Look Best on Caramel Skin
  • Dark brown and dark blonde hues compliment caramel skin well. Dark hair would benefit from warm highlights that are subtly blended in.

  • Best hair colour for the wheatish skin tone
  • Wheatish skin looks excellent with warm dark browns and cold light browns. The same guidelines apply regardless of how light or dark your complexion is since wheatish skin is classified as medium-dark skin.

Tips To Determine Hair colour For Your Skin Tone

The Best Hair colour Advice For Your Skin Tone
  • Identify the colours in your clothing that go best with your skin tone.
  • Golden brown, golden blond, strawberry blond, and auburn are the colours that will look excellent on you if you look good in red, orange, golden, yellow, and green.
  • Ash blond, platinum, ash brown, burgundy, and jet black will look excellent on you if you look good in maroon, fuchsia, black, and royal blue.
  • You'll look good in sandy blonde, beige blonde, chocolate brown, and mahogany if red, purple, charcoal grey, or turquoise looks good on you.
  • The colour of your eyes will also influence the hair colour that would look best on you.
  • Warm colour overtones work well with hazel, green, and brown eye hues. Some of them are burgundy, golden brown, and golden blonde.
  • Cool overtones in hair colour are appropriate for those with blue or grey eyes. These people will look better in platinum, ash blond, ash brown, and blond colours.
  • Choose a delicate blond shade halfway between brown and blonde, also known as bronde, if you have dark skin and still want to go for a complete hair colour or, let's say, if you have grey hair and want full coverage.
  • It can be challenging to start fully blond when you have a wheatish complexion. Instead, experiment with burgundy, light browns, reds, and browns.
  • If you're debating wearing an odd colour like purple, blue, or green, consider how it would go with your existing clothing and whether it complies with the dress code at work or school.
  • If you have a light skin tone, stay away from dark clothing because the contrast will make you appear whiter than you are. You may appear older than you are if you have dark hair and a light complexion.

It took me 1 Year to decide whether I wanted to go through with the hair restoration procedure using a Natural Looking Hair piece. I did a lot of research and consulted with many people who had done the procedure.

I was convinced to go ahead due to the information session / in-depth knowledge and the excellent customer service skills of Sanjay- the manager.

I did the procedure 1 month ago and I can honestly say that it was the best decision ever. Advanced Hair Studio provides the best quality for the Hair Pieces. The staff takes the time to understand what you are looking for as a customer. They style your hair based on your facial structure and I must truly admit that their stylists are pure Artists! My favourite stylist is Mohamad from Lebanon. He does magic with his hands and I am always thrilled with the new styles/ suggestions he provides.

I must admit that AHS is on the more expensive side if you were to consider the other competitors in Dubai. However, it is all worth every penny spent! You will not regret it.

Do not over think it. Just go ahead an do the procedure. You will evolve into a whole new person! Believe me! :-)

I started losing my hair in my mid-twenties and in spite of trying all sorts of treatments it gradually got worse and worse. By my late twenties I started cutting my hair short. Whenever I tried to grow it, it used to look a mess and was impossible to style because of my receding and thinning. I was looking at doing a hair transplant for a while, but I kept delaying it in hope that there was some alternative.

When I was in my mid-thirties I first came across AHS. I was a bit skeptical but I thought I’d find out what they could do. I was expecting a sales pitch but what I learned about hair loss and hair restoration from them was presented in a straightforward and logical way, without lots of medical terminology. They take time to explain the root cause of the problem and explore all the different treatments.

I decided to go ahead with the treatment and as it turns out, having AHS fix my hair was one of the best decisions I ever made. I still cannot believe how good my results are. I just wish I’d done it 10 years earlier rather than wasting so much time (and hair!). I would urge anyone who is thinking of doing something to check them out.
